(Young) Women’s Happiness Comes Before (Old) Men’s

 young women are happier than young men (Young) women are the happier sex. In younger years, women are happier than their male counterparts. Later in life, old men get ahead in the happiness stakes. These findings are based on the evaluation of 30 years worth of research.

Young women are more likely than young men to be happy, because they are more likely to reach their goals at a young age. Young men, whose goals are linked to financial achievements, can’t achieve what they long for until later in life. Old men, however, become more content once they get that car, that house and whatever else is on their wishlist.

there is one thing that men and women both want: a happy relationship. Young women are, again, at an advantage, because they actually enjoy being in a relationship, while young men feel the pressure of constantly having to prove themselves. Presumably, this changes again for older men, who gain confidence, while older women live in fear of losing their husbands to a younger woman.

Sex in marriage is a topic usually discussed in conjunction with “too little”, “boring” and “routine”. “Too much” sex in marriage is something that you occasionally expect to hear from women, who don’t feel like partaking in “conjugal duties” after a long, tiring day.

In this story, believe it or not, it’s the men complaining about too much sex in marriage. The two couples featured in this article had sex every day – one couple managed to keep up the routine for 3 months, the others kept going for a whole year. The women were the ones who took the initiative and ended up writing books about their experiences with daily sex. In both cases, the couples are, ahem, satisfied with the results, but the men admit they weren’t exactly thrilled to start out with. There really is such a thing as too much sex in marriage – even for men.

The whole blog-world loves twitter and be2 will be twittering from now on, too. But what to twitter? The fist tweet is almost as intimidating as the first sentence of a debut novel.

Obviously, we’ll be writing about love, just as we do on the be2 blog. But what do you write about love in 140 characters? We’ll start by getting some inspiration from the things twitter loves. This site collects all tweets containing the phrase “i love”, creating a fascinating caleidoscope of different thing loved by different people.
