Christmas Gift Calendar: A Boob Job for Christmas
24 days, 24 Christmas gifts:
Perfect Christmas gift ideas and suggestions by the be2 team, daily December 1st – 24th 2009.
Before you act on this (not quite serious) Christmas gift idea, make sure you ask the lady in question if she is actually interested in receiving a boob job for Christmas. We won’t take any responsibility for the consequences of giving her one unasked.
Christmas Gift Calendar: Designer Underwear
24 days, 24 Christmas gifts: Perfect Christmas gift ideas and suggestions by the be2 team, daily December 1st – 24th 2009.
Underwear is a classic Christmas present that men give their wives or girlfriends. In December every other billboard seems to show a smiling lingerie model suggesting women crave nothing more than sexy underwear for Christmas. We won’t even speculate how much of that is just a projection of men’s Christmas wishes. We’ll just say that underwear isn’t the fail-safe Christmas present it’s made out to be.
Blunders are caused at best by the difference in men’s taste in sexy underwear as opposed to women’s preference for something comfortable and stylish, at worst by their inability to buy the correct size, a severe violation of body diplomacy. It doesn’t help that really beautiful designer underwear is expensive, while the cheap stuff isn’t special enough to qualify as a Christmas present. At least the latter dilemma is solved this Christmas – by the dreamy underwear collection by Sonia Rykiel for H&M. Fabulous designer underwear at high street prices, in shops today!
In order to avoid the other unnecessary blunders: before you go shopping, take a peek at the underwear drawer of the woman you are buying for and see what she usually wears – sporty or sexy? underwired bras? thongs or shorts? plain or playful? cotton or silk? Finally, take a note of the correct size, then head for H&M and you can’t go far wrong!
Christmas Gift Calendar: Eclectic Jewellery, 10% off!

Perfect Christmas gift ideas and suggestions by the be2 team, daily December 1st – 24th 2009.
To die for is such an inaccurate expression. If you died for this jewellery you wouldn’t be able to wear it, which would be a real shame. Having said that, Eclectic Eccentricity jewellery is, proverbially, to die for. Pretty affordable to begin with, you can get an extra 10% Christmas discount on all orders right here!
Designer Lucy Averill named her range of quirky jewellery Eclectic Eccentricity, which is a combination of „two of Lucy’s favourite words in the English language“. They also describe the whole collection pretty well. Eclectic, because pieces range from your basic pretty pearl earrings and rose necklaces to vintage style pocket watches and an Eiffel tower necklace. Eccentricity, because what else would you call a silver octopus necklace, a pirate trunk pendant or a pair of mini-umbrella earrings?
But, and that’s where we get to our Christmas gift suggestions, a few pieces from the collection simply scream „Christmas present for that special someone“. We have selected three gift ideas. be2 blog readers get 10% off the whole range until the 18th of December, when they use the code BE2XMAS at checkout:
1. Christmas gift for your girlfriend: Make sure she gets the message with this envelope that opens up to reveal a card that reads „I love you“ or „Je t’aime“. The silver version is currently sold out, but we love this brass locket with a miniature rose.
2. Christmas gift for your best friend: Just to make sure she knows she’s your best friend, this gold-plated necklace really spells it out. The best part: you get to keep one of them yourself! Best friends, indeed.
3. Christmas gift for a single friend: Indulge someone’s romantic fantasies with this nostalgic „love spinner“. Does he love her? Spin the arrow and find out!
Ordering online is easy (I should know, I just ordered a fair bit of lovely jewellery for myself and a few Christmas presents, too
) and orders can be shipped pretty much anywhere. Orders should arrive within 7-10 days, so make sure you order in time for Christmas.
Christmas in a Shoe Box
Christmas still seems far away, but we are already looking forward to mulled wine and Christmas pudding, to Christmas parties and presents. Many others are less fortunate: to them, Christmas isn’t just far away, but impossibly far. Children in need often have little to look forward to at this time of year, as their families can’t afford to celebrate Christmas or give them presents.
That is why we are happy to support Operation Christmas Child. With 18 others from the be2 team, armed with 20 shoe boxes, 50 meters of wrapping paper, scissors, glue and loads of Christmas presents, we are wrapping packages that children in need across the world will open at Christmas. Last year, Operation Christmas Child was able to provide more than a Million children with a present to open at Christmas – thanks to generous donations and the help of many shoebox-packers.
This year many be2 staff are taking part, packing Christmas gift boxes for a few hours after work. Do you want to give a Christmas gift to a child in need? Taking part in Operation Christmas Child is simple: Read more
